Learn new words and phrases
Part 1
"perilous" means very dangerous. Tyrion emphasized that the situation is extremely risky and full of danger, and that there's a big chance of getting hurt or something bad happening.
"forge" here means to make an effort to develop a successful relationship with a person, organization, or country.
"alliance" means a group of countries, political parties, or people who have agreed to work together because of shared interests or aims.
The phrase "sealed in matrimony" means that two people are officially married. This phrase is often used in religious context to emphasize that their love will never end.

Part 2
Tyrion continues to play his game and to talk to Maester Pycelle about the benefits of Princess Myrcella's future marriage. And we're still learning new words.
"meddling" means trying to change or have an influence on things that are not your responsibility, especially by criticizing in a damaging or annoying way.
"affair" here means a situation or subject that is being dealt with or considered; a matter.
The phrase "too much at stake" means that there is a lot to lose or gain in a particular situation. This implies that the potential consequences of the situation are significant and that the outcome is uncertain. The phrase "too much at stake" is often used to emphasize the importance of making the right decision or taking the right action in a particular situation. It can also be used to express anxiety or fear about the potential consequences of failure.

Imagine you're playing a game with special prizes. If you win, you get amazing rewards! But if you lose, you lose something valuable. In this case, we can say "too much is at stake" because there's a lot to gain or lose. So, you have to be careful and do your best!
The phrase "be silent as the grave" means to be completely silent, without any sound or movement. Here, Pycelle uses it as a promise to keep things hidden or secret, like a confidential matter.
"broker" here means to arrange something such as a deal, agreement, etc. between two or more groups or countries.
The phrase "when she comes of age" means the time a girl is no longer treated like a kid, but like a grown-up. She gets new rights and responsibilities, like being able to vote, or drive, or getting married. This age can vary depending on the country and culture, but it's typically around 18-21 years old. In the past, girls were considered grown-ups at the age of 12 and could even get married then!
"ensure" means to make something certain to happen.

"precisely" is just another way of saying "exactly." It's like saying, "that's exactly what I was thinking." It can also be a fancy way to show you agree with someone who said something super obvious.
"loathe" means to feel strong hate, dislike, or disgust for someone or something.
"from within" is an idiom that means by the people who are part of a group, and not by people from outside it.

The phrase "bygones be bygones" used to tell someone that they should forget about unpleasant things that happened in the past.
"imprison" means to put someone in prison.
"execute" means to kill someone as a legal punishment.
"grudge" means a strong feeling of anger and dislike for a person who did something bad to you, and you still remember it after a long time.
"encumbrance" means something that makes it difficult for you to do something.
