Let's look closer at this sentence: "you seem disinterested at best". "Disinterested" means not very interested. Elodie adds "at best" to show there might be a tiny bit of interest, but it's not strong. So, the whole sentence says: "It seems like you might not be very interested, but maybe a little bit."
"prerogative" means something that certain people are able or allowed to do or have, but is not possible or allowed for everyone.
"guilted" here means that someone is being pressured or manipulated into getting married by making them feel bad.
"offend" means to make someone upset or angry, especially by being rude or showing a lack of respect.
"intent" means to be determined to do or achieve something.
"unaware" means not knowing that something exists, or not having knowledge or experience of something.
"harsh" means unpleasant, unkind, cruel, or more severe than is necessary.
"barren" means not producing or unable to produce plants or fruit.
"make peace with something" is an idiom that means to start to accept something that was previously worrying or annoying you.
"flowery" means that a speech or writing style uses too many complicated words or phrases in an attempt to sound skillful.
"insignia" means an object or mark that shows that a person belongs to a particular organization or group, or has a particular rank.
"maze" means a complicated system of paths or passages that people try to find their way through.
"unattended" means not being watched or taken care of.
"stable" means a building in which horses are kept.
